Comparison of the transcriptomic profiles of human BJ fibroblasts cell line silenced for FH (siFH) or not (siC)

With this study we wanted to identify genes that are differently expressed after a silencing of FH in the BJ fibroblast cell line. FH belongs to the alternative pathway of the complement system (innate immunity), and is expressed by fibroblasts. The silencing of BJ fibroblasts for FH, profoundly impacts the cell phenotype. Thanks to the RNAseq technology we were able to identify genes that are differently expressed and at the same time, biological processes that are modified in fibroblasts.
