This dataset is regenerated on a nightly basis to pull data from USACE's Dredging Information System (DIS) and formatted into point features for use in multiple Regional Sediment Management applications.<div></div><div> </div><div><div>DIS Fields:</div><div><ul><li>is_active</li><li>job_name</li><li>job_key</li><li>district_code</li><li>district_name</li><li>fiscal_year</li><li>placement_quantity</li><li>project_name</li><li>placement_type_name</li><li>job_location_name</li><li>placement_subtype_name</li><li>job_status</li><li>latitude</li><li>longitude</li><li>Latitude and Longitude are use to create the point geometry. Not all records have a latitude/longitude value and therefore not represented on the map.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Note: From DIS, placement_subtype_name includes Beneficial Use, Disposal, or TP/Transitional Placement as values. In this application Transitional Placement (TP) is replaced by Transitional.</div><div> </div><div>RSM fields added to derivative DIS dataset:</div><div><ul><li>placement_category, is added to the feature service to easily identify placement categories as either Beneficial Use, Disposal, or Unreported.</li></ul><ol><li>Disposal Categories are determined if the placement_type_name field value is equal to one of these items: "Confined (Diked) Placement","Confined Aquatic Disposal"</li><li><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size:15px;'>Beneficial Categories are determined if the placement_type_name field value is equal to one of these items: </div><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size:15px;'>"Beach/Shoreline Nourishment","Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Aquaculture","Aquatic Habitats","Construction and Industrial/Commercial Uses","Island Habitats","Multipurpose Uses and Other Land Use","Parks and Recreation","Strip Mine Reclamation, Solid Waste Landfill, and Alternative Uses","Upland Habitats","Wetland Habitats"</div></li><li><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;'><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size:15px;'>If placement_type_name is equal to Open-Water Placement, the placement_subtype_name field is used to determine if placement is Beneficial Use, Disposal, or Unreported.</div><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size:15px;'><ul><li>placement_subtype_name = Beneficial Use, sets placement_category equal to Beneficial Use</li><li>placement_subtype_name = TP/Transitional Placement, sets placement_category equal to Transitional</li><li>placement_subtype_name = Disposal, sets the placement_category equal to Disposal</li><li>placement_subtype_name = None, sets the placement_category equal to Unreported</li></ul></div></div></li></ol><ul><li>adjusted_placement_type_name, is added to the feature service to hold the name of the placement type + placement category.
