Overview This feature service supports the 2023 Population Forecast Allocation Model by collecting municipal input on development trends, growth expectations, redevelopment activity, and related planning conditions across Broward County. It contains survey responses submitted by municipal staff and provides a record of local perspectives used to inform population forecasting and growth analysis. Survey Content Municipal response information such as the responding municipality, staff role, and contact details for follow-up. Population and growth outlook including views on BEBR population estimates, anticipated growth trends, and the areas where population growth is expected to occur. Redevelopment planning covering policies or methods that promote redevelopment, anticipated redevelopment types, targeted redevelopment areas, and expected time frames. Housing and development capacity including dwelling units certified for occupancy, unit sizes, future land use capacity, and anticipated effects of the Live Local Act. Additional comments and open-ended feedback provided by participating municipalities. Geographic Coverage The survey focuses on municipalities within Broward County, Florida, including incorporated cities and unincorporated areas represented in the county planning process.
