This dataset accompanies a scoping review investigating the application of spatial prioritisation tools in island terrestrial ecosystems. The dataset includes metadata extracted from 72 peer-reviewed studies published between 2002 and 2024. These studies were identified through a systematic search and selection process aligned with PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The R script provided was used to produce key figures and visual summaries from the paper.
