Mastitis, a most common disease affecting dairy cows worldwide, causes great economic losses to the dairy industry. Epicatechin (EC) belongs to natural polyphenols, which are abundant in cocoa, grapes, tea and many other fruits and vegetables. We sought to identify novel EC-regulated targets upstream NF-kappa B and to address transmembrane mechanism of EC. To this end, we performed RNA-seq analysis. the cells were co-treated with LPS and EC in five replicates for 24 h.MAC-T cells were administrated with LPS as controls. And MAC-T cells without treatment were treated as negative.
