Monitoring Data of PPCPs and Macropollutants from Municipal Sources: WWTPs, Individual Systems, Constructed Wetlands, Stabilization Ponds, and Receiving Waters (Czech Republic, 2017–2021)

The dataset was generated under the project "Protection of critical infrastructure – the Želivka drinking water source – against the effects of PPCPs and pesticides under long-term drought conditions" (VI20172020097), funded by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic (2017–2021). The dataset contains flow rates and measured concentrations of 92 PPCPs and 5 macropollutants (nutrients and organic parameters) sampled from various municipal pollution sources, at different profiles. It includes data from: · inflows and outflows of urban wastewater treatment plants, · inflows and outflows of constructed wetlands, · sewer outflows with untreated or partially treated wastewater (e.g., combined sewerages with septic tank overflows) · outflows from stabilization ponds (built for additional treatment) · waters upstream and downstream of municipal discharges. Geographic and Temporal Scope: The monitoring was conducted between May 2017 and June 2019 within the catchment area of the Želivka River basin (Czech Republic). The data is provided in .xlsx format.
