The genomes of these isolates were sequenced using Nanopore sequencing technology, generating near-complete genomes and plasmid sequences. The dataset provides genome-scale evidence of antimicrobial resistance markers, including 141 different resistance gene subtypes and 2,647 circular plasmids. The data enable an in-depth understanding of cross-sectoral resistance dissemination, genomic connectivity, and the potential risks associated with AMR spread in Hong Kong's urban aquatic ecosystems.
