收藏资源简介:
Replication data and code for the paper "Adding flexibility to payments for environmental services enhances cost-effectiveness in the Brazilian Amazon" The dataset covers a pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT) implemented in the state of Acre between 2021 and 2023. A total of 456 smallholder landowners were randomly assigned to one of three groups: a zero-deforestation PES contract (Contract A), a flexible threshold-based PES contract (Contract B), or a control group with no PES offer. Forest loss was monitored using Sentinel-1 SAR satellite imagery over eleven two-month dry-season periods. Files included: · Stata dataset containing individual-level data on treatment assignment, auction bids, contract compliance, payments, and forest loss by period · Stata replication code reproducing all tables and figures in the main manuscript and supplementary information
