Value of ESG funds in China 2017-2021, by type

In 2021, the value of EDG funds in China amounted to almost 400 billion yuan. In the same year, over 64 billion yuan in new funds were launched and the number of ESG funds increased from 92 to 160. This is partly due to the Chinese government working on aligning domestic standards with the global financial market, which makes the products more appealing to investors.

于2021年，我国绿色债券（EDG）基金的总规模近达4000亿元人民币。同年，新发行基金规模超过640亿元人民币，ESG（环境、社会和治理）基金数量也从92家增至160家。此现象部分得益于我国政府致力于使国内标准与全球金融市场相协调，从而使得相关产品对投资者更具吸引力。
