The Lot and Property data was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at the map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:00000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. Feature heights have been derived from LiDAR elevation sources including 1m and 2m DEMS. The data used to create the DEMs have an accuracy of 0.3m (95% Confidence Interval) vertical and 0.8m (95% Confidence Interval) horizontal. 本数据集与宗地与财产数字数据集保持位置关系与对齐关系。宗地与财产数据通过数字化不同比例尺与精度的最优地籍制图(cadastral mapping)获取,比例尺范围为1:500至1:250000,符合澳大利亚国家测绘委员会(National Mapping Council of Australia)《地图精度标准(1975)》。因此,90%的明确定义点位的位置误差在对应地图比例尺下的0.5mm范围内,具体换算如下:1:500对应0.25米、1:2000对应1米、1:4000对应2米、1:25000对应12.5米、1:50000对应25米、1:100000对应50米。当前正在实施位置精度提升(精度改进)计划。
