资源简介:
The study was based on metagenomics sequencing technique to identify hazardous microbial community in the residential environment of rural and urban settings. Therefore, the study was planned to make a comparison of microbial (bacterial and fungal) diversity in indoor (rural traditional kitchens and urban modular kitchens) and outdoor (rural and urban outdoor spaces) environment. Hence, an amplification and sequencing approach to assess the composition of above mentioned microbial communities was done by using the V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene and ITS region on the Illumina MiSeq platform. This approach yielded high quality sequence data from 16S rRNA gene amplicons using 2X300 bp paired-end MiSeq protocols and provides a flexible sequencing option. These results provide a basis for understanding the microbial community composition, diversity, and abundance in outdoor and indoor bioaerosol samples and indicates potential influence on human health.
