The goal of this study is to isolate the gene(s) that are involved in the transport process of small RNA-mediated gene silencing movement. To do this, the genome of transgene line RtSS in Arabidopsis, which displays the inducible silencing movement, and of the RtSS-derived mutant showing the deficient mobile silencing, were sequenced respectively, using the Illumina Hiseq-2000 platform.
