According to the results of a monthly survey conducted by GEM Partners, 6.6 percent of respondents in Japan had the impression that U-Next offered content that could not be watched on other platforms as of April 2021. A comparison of subscription video on demand (SVoD) services showed that Netflix was the leading service when it came to the perceived content exclusivity.
