Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at 67 High Street, Sutton, Cambridgeshire, January 2022

This collection consists of images and GIS data archaeological evaluation by trial trenching by Allen Archaeology Limited. Work occurred on land at 67 High Street, Sutton, Cambridgeshire, in January 2022.Two trench evaluation comprising the excavation of 2 trenches. The 2 trenches, measuring 10m long and 1.8m wide were excavated in the proposed development area, both revealed archaeological remains. Medieval pits dating to 12th - 14th centuries recorded in Trench 1 along with post-medieval activity. Trench 2 contained only evidence for post-medieval demolition activity.
