Gene expression of circadian clock genes across life stages in Culex pipiens f. molestus

The underground mosquito, Cx. pipiens f. molestus, predominately lives in light absent or asynchronous environments. Therefore, selection pressures to maintain circadian rhythm entrainment may be reduced. To assess the presence of potential inactivating mutations in circadian genes, we generated RNA-seq data for four Cx. pipiens f. molestus life stages: larva, pre-pupa, pupa and adult. Each of the four libraries was a pooled sample of 10 individual heads. The purpose for this data was to look for at the binary (yes/no) expression of known genes influencing circadian rhythms.
