This study focuses on the flowers of O. fragrans and aims to investigate the molecular regulatory networks underlying flower opening and senescence. Through an integrated analysis of the transcriptome, sRNA, and degradome, the research seeks to elucidate the molecular mechanisms governing these processes. The specific objectives of the study are as follows: (1) to identify genes and miRNAs that exhibit significant changes in expression during flower opening and senescence; (2) to utilise degradome sequencing to elucidate the regulatory relationships between miRNAs and their target mRNAs, and construct a miRNA-mRNA regulatory network; and (3) to uncover the potential regulatory mechanisms of key miRNA-target pairs involved in flower opening and senescence in O. fragrans.
