Net interest margin of NBFCs in India FY 2024, by company type

In the financial year 2024, the net interest margin of microfinance institutions was highest at 12.4 percent in India. In contrast, housing finance companies had the lowest net interest margin of 3.3 percent. Net interest margin is the difference between the interest income generated and the amount of interest paid out by an institution.
