Expression data on isolated lung fibroblasts from Atf4wt/wt (LFBwt/wt) and Atf4D/D (LFBD/D) mice.

To identify the impact of ATF4 deletion on the expression of collagen-associated and fibroblast activation genes. We used microarrays to detail the gene expression profile on lung fibroblasts post ATF4 deletion. Many genes to be differentially expressed, with a profound reduction in expression of collagen-associated and fibroblast activation genes in LFBD/D. We identified that ECM organization/degradation and collagen biosynthesis pathways to be the most impaired in LFBD/D. Lung fibroblasts were isolated from Atf4wt/wt (LFBwt/wt) and Atf4D/D (LFBD/D) mice and cultured until passage 2, for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays.
