资源简介:
Ice-marginal lakes are common, yet poorly characterized features in glaciated regions and receive input from a combination of subglacial, supraglacial, and terrestrial waters. Lake Tininnilik is a large (~40 km2) ice-marginal lake along Sarqardliup Glacier south of Ilulissat, Greenland that fills and drains on cyclical- decal timescales. During winter 2020-2021, Lake Tininnilik drained into Sarqardleq Fjord. Samples were collected in summer 2022 following lake drainage, including surface and bottom waters, stream waters, biofilms, and soils which were analyzed for macro-and micronutrients, water-soluble ions, physical properties (i.e., turbidity, % dissolved oxygen...) and microbial composition. These data will inform the impact rapidly drained, glacially derived waters have on the downstream coastal ecosystem.
