The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Damage Proxy Maps (DPM) covering areas in Montana, United States due to floods caused by heavy rainfall and snowmelt. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency (ESA).
