Heat fllow in the Tadjoura rift ranges from 158 to 348 mW/m**2. Under these conditions convection rate with intrinsic liquid temperature of 60°C is 2.5 m/yr. A body producing heat flow anomaly is a plate inclined toward the Arabian plate at an angle of 10° to vertical. The upper edge of the plate locates at depth of 6 km and its base locates at 45 km. 1300°C isotherm locates at depth of 30 km at distance of 160 km from the constructive boundary.塔朱拉裂谷（Tadjoura Rift）内的热流（heat flow）范围为158至348 mW/m²。在此条件下，当内禀液体温度（intrinsic liquid temperature）为60°C时，对流速率为2.5 m/yr。引发热流异常的地质体为一与垂直方向呈10°夹角、向阿拉伯板块倾斜的板块。该板块的上缘埋深为6 km，底部埋深为45 km。1300°C等温线（isotherm）的埋深为30 km，距离散板块边界（constructive boundary）的距离为160 km。
