Transcriptomic data of a heat-priming experiment on Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa seagrasses

To study transcriptome responses of seagrasses to heat-priming, we conducted an ad hoc mesocosm experiment on Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa seagrasses. Leaf samples were collected at the end of the experiment from control (exposed to ambient water temperature), non-primed (exposed to a single heatwave) and heat-primed (exposed to repeated heatwaves) groups for RNA sequencing.
