Gene expression analysis of macrophage response to infection with Streptococcus oralis or to treatment with hydrogen peroxide. Mus musculus

We compared the gene expression patterns of macrophages infected with S. oralis wild type and SpxB KO, a strain that does not produce H2O2. Overall design: RAW 264.7 macrophages that were infected with S. oralis wild type and SpxB KO strains at multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 5 for 16 hours. RAW 264.7 cells were also stimulated with 100 ng/ml LPS for 1, or 3 hours after pretreat with or without 1 mM H2O2 for 30 mins.
