Metagenomic Sequencing of Biofloc Culture Samples

This project applies high-throughput metagenomic sequencing to analyze the microbial communities present in biofloc aquaculture systems. By characterizing the diversity and functional potential of bacteria, archaea, and other microorganisms, the study aims to better understand the ecological dynamics that support water quality, animal health, and nutrient cycling in intensive aquaculture. The insights gained will contribute to more stable, sustainable, and efficient biofloc-based production environments.
