Antivirulence therapy is considered as a promising alternative antimicrobial therapy since it targets virulence factors rather survival. As a result, anti-virulence therapy should present less selective pressure and have less impact to the host-associated microbiota. However, the systematic evaluation of the impact of antivirulence compounds on the host microbiota was limited. In this project, impact of antivirulence compound on the host-associated microbial community was also tested using Arabidopsis thaliana phyllosphere as a model.
