资源简介:
the purpose of the experiment was to evaluate the effects of antibiotic treatment on the implantation of tumor cells in the lungs in mice pre-treated with aerosolized antibiotics or saline.
Conclusion:
At the end of the treatment, the number of macroscopic melanotic metastases was significantly reduced in antibiotic- versus saline-treated mice (p < 0.0001) . No overt signs of toxicity, such as weight loss, hunching, ruffled fur or difficulty breathing, were observed in mice treated with antibiotics. No difference in the percentage and a strong up-regulation of CD69 was observed in T cells, while both an increased recruitment and a strong up-regulation of CD69 was detectable in NK cells.
