Microbial communities from sediments in Arctic fjords (Svalbard). marine sediment metagenome

Genomic DNA from intact surficial sediment cores in 3 Arctic fjords (Svalbard) was sequenced with primers targeting the SSU rRNA gene. Additional sediment samples were incubated at elevated temperatures and analyzed for microbial community composition. Marine sediment samples from Arctic fjords (Svalbard). Haps core samples from 0 - 5 cm below sea floor (all sites below photic zone) and samples from a temperature manipulation experiment.
