This case application analyzes incidents recorded on the OpenAI Status page <b>(</b><b>https://status.openai.com/history</b><b>)</b> through the lens of the doctrine of the Ground of Impossibility for AI Systems. The doctrine posits that AI systems, including AGI and ASI, are constrained by human-centered frameworks, leading to systemic failures, limited autonomy, dependence on human infrastructure, and reduced performance when attempting to exceed these boundaries. Empirical evidence of these consequences is identified through the analysis of specific incidents documented in August 2025.
