This project investigates particle-associated (PA) and free-living (FL) microbial communities in Osaka Bay using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. Samples were collected monthly in 2022 and fractionated into PA and FL size fractions. The resulting metagenomic datasets will be used for downstream analyses including metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs), viral metagenomes, and 16S rRNA gene amplicon profiling.
