Eyetracking, sound localization latency in infants and young children

Gaze
intercepted AOI and time stamps for each sample were sent from the eye-tracking
system to the presentation system by a low latency network connection. The time
stamps from the presentation and eye-tracking systems were synchronized off-line
by subtracting the minimum difference between the two systems from the eye-tracking
system time stamps and adding a system latency (sound card buffer and eye
tracker processing) of 19 ms. The collected eye-tracking data was stored in a
text files and a compiled
