Xylella fastidiosa strain:CoDiRO Genome sequencing and assembly

Xylella fastidiosa CoDiRO. A novel isolate of X. fastidiosa was isolated from olive trees affected by the olive quick decline syndrome (OQDS) in southern Italy. The isolate was named after the Italian term identifying the disease “Complesso del disseccamento rapido dell'olivo” (CoDiRO). Genomic DNA for sequencing was recovered from pure cultures established from infected periwinkle.
