资源简介:
The SEED Programme was designed to enhance primary school pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing by providing a co-produced, tailored response to individual school needs. The intervention was delivered as a stratified, cluster randomised trial and comprised three stages. First, schools conducted a needs assessment using questionnaires completed by staff, pupils, and parents, including the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). Second, the assessment data were shared with school staff, who participated in facilitated reflexive discussions—guided by appreciative enquiry and an evidence-based resource guide—led by the school’s Educational Psychologist. These discussions informed the selection of tailored classroom- and whole-school-level actions and initiatives. Third, schools implemented and sustained the chosen strategies. The study ran from 2013 to April 2020 and involved 3,740 participants, including a younger cohort (aged 4–5), an older cohort (aged 8–9), teachers, and parents. The dataset contains identifiable information. The study protocol is available at https://www.fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/award/10/3006/13 and trial registration details can be found at http://www.isrctn.com/ISRCTN51707384.
