Forest road crack dataset

synchronized acquisition was conducted in representative mountainous road regions in Hunan, China, including the Huifeng Forest Farm in Yongzhou, using an in vehicle high definition camera system and a low altitude UAV; the collection covers multiple road structures such as gravel roads and concrete pavements, and includes sunny, overcast, and post rainfall wet conditions so as to preserve typical disturbances such as cast shadows and water stains. The original video frames and still images were then manually curated by removing motion blurred and redundant frames, applying unified cropping to focus on crack regions, and standardizing the resolution to 512 × 512, yielding 1100 high quality crack images; after per image verification, LabelImg was used to produce precise bounding box annotations for crack regions.

本数据集在中国湖南省典型山区道路区域开展同步采集工作，采集区域涵盖永州市汇峰林场等地点，采用车载高清摄像系统与低空无人机（UAV）进行数据获取；采集覆盖砾石路面、混凝土路面等多种道路结构类型，同时包含晴天、阴天以及雨后潮湿等多种气象场景，以保留投射阴影、水渍等典型路面干扰特征。随后对原始视频帧与静态图像进行人工筛选：剔除运动模糊帧与冗余帧，通过统一裁剪聚焦于路面裂缝区域，并将图像分辨率统一标准化为512×512，最终得到1100张高质量路面裂缝图像；经逐张校验后，使用LabelImg工具为裂缝区域生成精准的边界框标注。
