Calliphora vicina (blue bottle blowfly) and Lucilia sericata (common green bottle fly) genome sequencing

Microbial community structures and deep unamplified metagenome whole-genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing data was generated for two species of blowflies, Lucilia sericata and Calliphora vicina, from New Zealand. The outcomes of this project can be used to provide the basis for development of new interventions (for example, probiotics, bioactive compounds, vaccines or insecticides).
