RNA-sequencing of Control and Bisphenol A (BPA) exposed mice livers.

To elucidate the molecular perturbations underlying the connection of low-dose prenatal BPA exposure to cardiometabolic diseases, we assessed the liver transcriptome in both male and female mouse offspring exposed to 5ug/kg/day BPA and corn oil (control) during gestation. Overall design: Liver samples were dissected from mice offspring at 24 weeks and flash frozen then stored at -80C. RNA was extracted using the Qiagen MiRNeasy Mini Kit. There were 4 groups: 1) Male corn oil (control) 2) Male BPA exposed 3) Female corn oil (control) 4) Female BPA exposed. There were 4 samples per group (Total samples =16).
