Geospatial datasets for Amarnath Valley Flash Flood (July 2022) Assessment
收藏资源简介:
The present geospatial datasets are based on the research article "Exploring the capability of Earth Observation data and a new ‘4S’ framework for Disaster Risk Reduction: An experience from July 2022 flash floods in Amarnath valley, India". The repository contains all the analysed raster and vector datasets associated with the research article and has been made available under FAIR data principles. These datasets aim to facilitate multi-stakeholder engagement in assessing unseen risks and implementing the proposed ‘4S’ framework - 'source', 'setting', 'susceptibility', and 'solution' - for comprehensive flash flood risk assessment aligned with global goals (UN-SDGs) and national (PM-10 point) DRR agendas. The various results can be visualised through the interactive dashboard based on the Google Earth Engine app. Read our research article from the following link. This research work has been featured by the UN DRR Prevention Web.
