资源简介:
This dataset contains stable water isotope measurements collected in Dickson Fjord, Northeast Greenland, on August 14th and 15th 2022, as part of the Greenland Gradients research project led by Rysgaard, Søren. The data were collected to assess the presence and influence of glacier meltwater, Polar Water, and Atlantic Water, providing insights into the mixing and distribution of freshwater in the fjord system. Water samples were collected at five locations along the fjord, ranging from 500 meters near the glacier terminus to Ella Island, and at standard depths of 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, and 150 m. At Stations 1 and 13, additional samples were taken at depths of 200, 210, 220 (Station 13), and 250 m (Station 1). Samples were collected at Stations 1, 5, 7, and 9 on August 14th, and at Station 13 on August 15th. Each sample was transferred to 2 mL glass vials and stored at room temperature until analysis. The stable hydrogen and oxygen isotope concentrations were determined using a Cavity Ringdown Spectrometer, L2130-i Isotopic H₂O (Picarro Inc., USA). The dataset complements CTD measurements collected during the same field campaign, which took place from July 31st to August 15th 2022.
