资源简介:
This dataset reports concentrations of propylene glycol (PG) and 2-butoxythanol from a series of photodegradation experiments conducted to determine the contribution of direct and indirect photolysis via hydroxyl radical to compound degradation. Data are reported for low pressure (LP) and medium pressure (MP) mercury vapor ultraviolet light at multiple UV doses in Gulf of Mexico Seawater and Boulder creek surface water. Concentrations of PG and BE are included under a solar simulator after 4 different irradiance times. PG and BE concentrations were determined in advanced oxidation process (AOP) experiments by spiking the sample matrix of Gulf of Mexico Seawater and Boulder creek surface water or ultrapure water with H2O2 at 5 UV doses. This dataset also includes percent removal of PG and BEG in Gulf of Mexico Seawater and Boulder Creek water as a function of exposure time. This dataset supports the paper Kover, S. C., Rosario-Ortiz, F. L., and Linden, K. G. (2014) Photochemical fate of solvent constituents of Corexit oil dispersants.
