Chemical and bromine and chlorine isotope data for brine, precipitates, and gas phases during evaporation of synthetic seawater

This dataset includes chemical compositions, Br/Cl ratios, and stable isotope data (δ⁸¹Br, δ³⁷Cl) for brine, precipitates, and gas phases across sequential evaporation stages during controlled evaporation of synthetic seawater. The data capture the progressive evolution of aqueous and solid phases across sequential evaporation stages, including early calcium-phase precipitation and later halite formation. The research underlying this dataset aims to improve understanding of halogen behavior during evaporation, particularly the processes controlling isotope fractionation and elemental partitioning among coexisting phases. The dataset includes measurements from brine samples collected throughout evaporation, solid precipitates formed at different stages, and gas-phase halogens captured during the experiment.
