资源简介:
This data set was acquired with an Antares Datensysteme GmbH 1857 Autonomous Temperature Logger (S/N 1857015C) deployed in November 2011 at 90 m below seafloor in the CORK-II installed in Hole U1383C in North Pond on the western flank of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge during IODP Expedition 336 (Edwards et al., 2012). The temperature logger was recovered in October 2017 using the ROV Jason during R/V Atlantis cruise AT39-01 (C.G. Wheat, Chief Sci.). The data file is in tab-delimited Text File (ASCII) format and includes date/time, raw binary counts, sensor resistances, and temperature values that were converted using factory software and calibrations. The instrument was acquired with support from NSF award OCE-0946795 (K. Becker, PI) Collaborative Research: The basalt-hosted biosphere observatory at North Pond, advanced instrumentation for transformative science. Further NSF support was provided under grants OCE-1060855 and OCE-1536601 (K. Becker, PI), with 2017 ship time and ROV dive support from OCE-1536623 (C.G. Wheat, PI). Pressure datafiles from this CORK-II installation are also available from MGDS (Becker et al., 2015c, data set DOI 10.1594/IEDA/322274; and Becker et al., 2018c, data set DOI 10.1594/IEDA/324536). Long-term pressure and temperature data from Hole U1383C are presented by Becker et al. (2022).
