The mediational role of Self-efficacy between extracurricular activities and youth pro-social engagement

Drawing on structural equation modelling and a sample of 301 participants, this study aims to provide a model statistically capable of explaining how all these variables serve to engender in youth behavioural intention to bring about positive change in the community. Overall, none of the four exogenous measures directly influenced engagement. However, self-efficacy was found to feed from those measures and act as a mediator directly impacting youth socio-political engagement.
