Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1972, Omnibus no. 03

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1972 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1972. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 03. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1972 omnibuses are: degree of urbani- zation; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in household (children/adults, over/under 15); ocupational status of head of household; total income of family; the respondent's occupational status; the respondent's educational status; the respondent's in- come; position in household of respondent and spouse; occupational status of housewife; social class; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Danish membership of the EC (provided that Norway joins the EC); attitudes to the EC referendum; knowledge of the EC; Sweden and the EC; carnivals; children and Danish Shrovetide customs and ce- lebrations; assessment of the efficiency of private versus public enterprises; attitudes to America's involvement in Vietnam and the future of Vietnam; household investments; attitudes to drunken driving; fixed alcohol limits; and the penalty for drunken driving (prison/fines/loss of licence)
