Retirement.<br>Topics: satisfaction with: family life, public support for families with children, public support for people caring for dependent older relatives; main difficulties for families; personal work-life balance; best way of combining work and child care: both parents working full time, both parents working part time, one parent working full time and the other one part time, one parent working full time and the other one looking full time after the children; priority of each of the following policy measures: longer paid parental leave, incentives for fathers to take parental leave, easier access to part-time work, access to more flexible childcare arrangements, increased child allowances, right of paid leave to care for dependent elderly relatives, increased tax advantages for families with children; best ways of pre-school childcare; activities for the time of retirement: enrol in educational courses, volunteering, job for extra income, invest in property, sell property to have cash available, borrow against own home, save money in case of becoming dependent, adapt home to account for loss of mobility, stop driving, move to different home; preferred type of home; importance of implementing the following policies in the own country: encourage people to lead healthy lifestyles, force employers to offer easy access to working part time for older employees, give people the right to combine paid activity and receive pension, use public budgets to provide assistance for home adaption, use public budgets for more accessible public transport, use public budgets to support people to stay longer in their homes, encourage volunteering of seniors, use public budgets to support initiatives that bring young and old people together; household composition and household size; financial situation of the own household.
