Whole genome sequencing of a PP1 strain - a new thermophilic bacterium from a hot spring of Baikal lake region representing new genus of the Caldicellulosiruptoraceae family. PP1 is a saccharolytic bacterium, growing on many simple sugars and several polysaccharides. Small rods with rounded ends with subpolar filaments, single or in short chains. Growth temperature range 45-67C with optimum 55-60C.
