The effect of MeHg on mRNA levels in the slices. The slices were incubated with or without 1 µM MeHg for 24 h. The amounts of mRNA were determined by real-time RT-PCR as described in the Materials and Methods section. The amounts of mRNA in MeHg-treated slices were given as the values relative to that in the non-treated slices. The values are the means of 3 separate experiments, and the error bars indicate the SE.
