Cultural Resources Survey of proposed improvements at U.S. 25 and Walnut Lane

"The purpose of the proposed project is to improve the operating conditions at the intersection of Walnut Lane at U.S. 25, including the entrance to the "Sweetwater" development, located in Aiken County, SC (Figures I and 2). The existing Walnut LanelU.S. 25 intersection is a stop controlled, three-way, T-type intersection. U.S. 25 in the vicinity of Walnut Lane is a five-lane roadway with a center tum lane. Approaching U.S. 25, Walnut Lane is a two-lane roadway."本拟建项目旨在改善南卡罗来纳州艾肯县核桃巷（Walnut Lane）与美国25号公路（U.S. 25）交叉口的通行条件，该交叉口包含"甜水（Sweetwater）"开发项目的出入口，相关示意图如图I和图2所示。现有核桃巷与美国25号公路交叉口为采用停车让行管控的三路T型交叉口。核桃巷周边的美国25号公路为双向五车道道路，设有中央左转专用车道；而衔接该公路的核桃巷则为双向两车道道路。
