Communications Earth & Environment 7, 94. </i>https://doi.org/10.1038/s43247-025-03103-5Data description:Quantitative stacked mean annual precipitation (MAP) reconstructions (mm/year) based on fossil pollen records from the West Mediterranean and West-Central Africa using transfer function method under the Weighted Averaging-Partial Least Squares (WA-PLS) regression model. The MAP stacks for the West Mediterranean and West-Central Africa are constructed from aggregated fossil pollen-based reconstructions. Specifically, the West Mediterranean stack integrates the MAP reconstructions from Padul, ODP-976 and MD95-2043 records, whereas the West-Central African stack incorporates the Bambili, Barombi, GIK16856-2 and KW31 records.
