资源简介:
The Phoenix Area Social Survey (PASS) parallels the Ecological Survey of Central Arizona (formerly, Survey 200) as a long-term monitoring program of the CAP LTER. Every five years, the PASS research team surveys households in selected neighborhoods in the metropolitan Phoenix area to better understand perceptions, values, and behaviors on several key environmental and social issues. The 2001 pilot survey was conducted in eight Phoenix area neighborhoods with 302 respondents. This survey focused on perceptions of local and regional environmental issues, neighborhood amenities and disamenities, social capital, and front and backyard landscaping preferences. The tabular survey data presented in this dataset were previously published through the LTER at the following citation; newer versions of that dataset will not contain the 2001 data presented in this dataset: "Harlan, Sharon (2009): Phoenix Area Social Survey (PASS). Long Term Ecological Research Network. http://dx.doi.org/10.6073/pasta/fc7e9d5c6c030b2e9bbf8bf050d519a0" Datasets in the Phoenix Area Social Survey (PASS) series of long-term studies are discoverable in the LTER data system with the keywords "phoenix area social survey".
