Ṣâ’ib’s ghazals.
A complete copy of all the ghazals of Ṣâ’îb, in alphabetical order, the fullest collection extant. Beginning:
اگر نه مدّ بسم الله بودى تاج عنوانها الخ.
No date. The margin of the first two pages is covered with some mathnawî-baits, apparently by Ṣâ’ib too, beginning:الهى ذرّۀ دردى بجان ريز الخ.
College of Fort William, 1825. Special selection of Ṣâ’ib’s ghazals are noticed in W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., p. 62, ii.3a, and p. 702, No. 44.
No. 2117, ff. 657, 4 coll., each ll. 29; good and clear Nasta’lîḳ; size, 19 in. by 10 in.
