收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the research article entitled “Managing Responsibility after Salala: Agentless Causation and Diplomatic Communication in U.S.–Pakistan Relations". . The data package contains supporting materials generated during the qualitative analysis of official statements and media reports surrounding the July 2012 U.S.–Pakistan “Salala apology” episode. It includes:• Metadata and source details of the original public texts forming the corpus (official statements, press briefings, and news articles);• Initial drafts of analytic tables and figures used for clause-level coding (VAG, PASS, AGDEL, COLL, MOD, ACC);• Preliminary drafts of appendices defining the coding categories and clause-ID scheme; and• A manual synthesis document that records the analytic decisions and thematic synthesis process. The corpus itself consists of publicly available, copyrighted texts and is therefore shared here in metadata and coded-extract form only. Full texts may be accessed through the respective public outlets cited in the metadata sheet or upon reasonable request to the author. Version 1.0 (Pre-submission Dataset) – deposited October 2025.
